Dr. Jason Flicker graduated from Syracuse University in 1992, and received his M.D. from St. Georges University School of Medicine, during which time he was selected for clinical training at St. Joseph’s Hospital in New Jersey, an affiliate of the Mount Sinai Medical Center. He then completed a pediatrics internship at the prestigious Schneider’s Children’s Hospital of the Long Island Jewish Medical Center. After his internship, he completed a pre-residency fellowship in Ophthalmology at Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn and Queens., Dr. Flicker then completed his residency training at North Shore University Hospital where he was selected to lead his colleagues as Chief Resident during his final year. He joined South Shore Eye Care in 2002, and practices comprehensive Ophthalmology, No Stitch No Injection Cataract Surgery as well as Laser Vision Correction and Cosmetic Enhancement with Botox and Restylane.

Dr. Flicker is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist and a member of many professional societies including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Nassau Academy of Medicine, the New York State Ophthalmologic Society, Long Island Ophthalmologic Society, and the Medical Society of the State of New York. He has lectured extensively to his colleagues, made many scientific presentations and he continues to teach the ophthalmology residents at the North Shore University Hospital.

policies and procedures and/or federal or state law. Calls received by the Compliance HelpLine are most often
inquiries but can sometimes be reports of potential misconduct. Our investigatory process includes many methods to
determine whether any misconduct occurred. Compliance takes all calls seriously. Inquiries are reviewed by the
Compliance Officer and may also be reviewed by other applicable departments.
The Center’s Compliance HelpLine is available 24 hours a day, even days a week. Compliance HelpLine callers may
remain anonymous and those who choose to give their name will have their identities protected to the extent allowed
by law. The Compliance HelpLine has multi-lingual operators who can take reports from individuals whose first
