Daniel D. Hayes, MD received his undergraduate degree from Boston College and his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University. He completed his internal medicine internship at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and his ophthalmology residency and chief residency at the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System. This was followed by a glaucoma fellowship at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary with the Glaucoma Associates of New York.
Dr. Hayes is Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at Hofstra North Shore – Long Island Jewish School of Medicine. He is a member of a number of local and national societies including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Glaucoma Society and the New York Glaucoma Society.
